Star Wars Episode II poster by EmSeeSquared Star Wars Episode II poster by EmSeeSquared
FINALLY this installment is finished!

Star Wars is copyrighted and owned by George Lucas (no matter what one's negative opinion of him is. Damn selfish Bashers...)

This is the second in a series of posters i've had planned out in my head since the prequels were ANNOUNCED. the blueprints have existed in my head ever since, and have manifested in various drawings and other forms before finally reaching this Photoshop stage.

Now, some of you may be saying "this isn't a poster, it's a collage." it's both, really. it can be printed and hung up like a movie poster, it's got the cast and movie stuff at the bottom like a poster, so it's both. i tried to cram in as much relevance as possible, from deleted scenes, to cameos. for instance, above the handmaidens, you can see a cameo played by Nathan Hamill, Mark's son. and above him is Rick McCallum, the producer (keep insults to yourself), and above him is sound designer Ben Burtt. So yea, there's a LOT of hidden info in this baby, heh

NO prequel-bashing please. i CANNOT stress that enough.

also, many, many, MANY thanks to digital Star Wars fan artist Simon Zoltan for providing me with his beautiful movie logos for use for these posters!

with this installment of this series i've started to include Expanded Universe material that wasn't in the movies. This might charm SOME fans, "oh i'd love to see such-and-such in there!", or it could piss off some fans who have what i've come to call Ostrich Mentality, "if you don't see it, it's not there". "oh that wasn't in the movie! why'd you put that there! waah wah!" see the previous poster for details of what i'm intending to do.

one thing i plan to do for the next poster, Episode III, i could REALLY use some help with:
i plan to have Anakin and Obi-Wan wearing the armor they wear in the Clone Wars tv show, particularly Anakin, as his armor is so reminiscent of Vader, and i wanna show that transition. this is tricky to do, as the show has such a unique art style that clashes with photo realism. one option i'd like to use is the Sideshow figures, and paste Hayden Christensen and Ewan McGreggor's heads, but i need good photograhs of it in fighting poses, poses that can match up with existing headshots. if anyone can help with this, i'd be very appreciative. help contribute! it would also be nice to include Clone Wars characters like Riyo Chuchi, Dutchess Satine, and Cad Bane, but again, the art style clashes, so if anyone can come up with solutions, i'm all ears.

For Episode III poster I would prefer if Obi-Wan and Anakin had their usual Jedi robes instead of armor, also it would be excellent if somehow you could manage to add 16 year old Ahsoka this time, since that's how old she was when she left. These are just ideas from my point of view, at the end, you're the one who says the last word. I loved the ones you did for Episodes I and II.

you're in luck. at its present stage, Ahsoka is indeed older, and i decided to put promotional stills of them fighting from III for the main duel image, AND manips of them in armor down in a jedi group shot.

Even though this is my least favorite of the saga, this is still very well done! :headbang: :iconrockonplz:

Cool, you gave Adi Gallia (Dark Red), Plo Koon (Yellow) and Ki-Adi-Mundi (Purple) their Episode I colors, but why then give Mace Windu (Blue) his Episode II color?

Here in my picture below;

I gave all the Jedi who appeared in Episode I their Episode I colors (well I heard Yoda could have had Yellow during The Phantom Menace, but back then between 1999-2002, I never found anything info about Yoda's lightsaber until I saw Attack of the Clones).

i gave him purple because, despite having blue in media prior to Ep II, it would have looked and felt wrong to give him anything other than purple, a color everybody KNOWS he uses, especially since Samuel L. Jackson pretty much had to beg and plead with Lucas to have purple, as it's his favorite color. Sorry.

it would be interesting to see Ahsoka in "Attack of the Clones" but she would most likely be a non-speaking background cameo.

well, this poster also represents events and characters who appear shortly after Ep II. the Ep III poster will feature more links to TCW as well, hopefully.
