Beauties of DC by EmSeeSquared Beauties of DC by EmSeeSquared
a redo of my older Supergirl / Batgirl pic.

what can be said of Bruce Timm? aside from helping create the DC Animated Universe, the guy draws THE prettiest girls around. and these two beauties are no exception. Supergirl (Kara In-Ze) and Batgirl (Barbara Gordon) are simply where it's at. Wonder Woman? No contest. So i decided to redo my older pic and expand it, and further tribute them, showing them relaxing in civilian outfits, in both their costumes, and even show them goofing around having fun together.

here's to the most perfect beauties ever to grace the DCAU!

Wish they hadn't done that stupid Bat-Embargo. It would have been great to see them team up again in Justice League ^^

The Bat-Embargo was the term used to call a rule which restricted or banned the use of Batman-related characters aside from Batman himself. This was used due to the movie Batman Begins, and the animated series The Batman, which is not part of the DCAU. It entered in effect halfway during Justice League Unlimited season 2, which explains the absence of many Batman rogues such as the Joker, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Two-Face or the Riddler, as well as his main allies, like Robin and Batgirl (Nightwing only appeared in a cameo in the episode "Grudge Match"). The few who were able to escape the Bat-Embargo were Huntress, obscure Batman rogues such as KGBeast or Clock King , and the originals from Batman Beyond.

That is totally lame. They could've at least teamed up in a Season 1 of JLU. Heck, they could've had another Batman/Superman episode but with the allies uniting.

I heard that the episode "Double Date" was originally going to feature Batgirl, but due to the embargo she was unavailable. Another one was Dr. Hugo Strange, who had a cameo in "Doomsday Sanction" and was supposed to be the one doing the interrogation/torture on The Question in "Question Authority".

As much as I loved the DCAU, JLU would have gone much better shouldn't they had done the embargo.
